 In this day and age there are many people looking for work from home jobs for moms. Many people would love to work from home. Let's face it, there are many advantages to it. You do not have to travel, you can create more time, you can work when you are most productive, and you can be in the comfort of your own home.

However, many people also discourage hundreds of opportunities available and some of them are scams. I've been down that road too. I have been looking for work from home opportunities for some years. I tried different things, such as translation, network marketing and virtual assistant. Most times I've discouraged and not put the necessary effort. But then I found something that struck a chord with me, even though it had previously dismissed.

In my quest to find a job I could do from home I learned three lessons I'd share with you:

Not all opportunities are suitable for everyone. You need to feel comfortable and most importantly you need to enjoy what you do. Search until you feel 100% comfortable with it. It might take time, but I promise it's worth.

If you are serious about making a success of your job or business, a mentor or coach is achieved. Yes, it will cost money, but you will get much faster results. They keep you focused and teach you things that you may take more time to learn on your own. Therefore, obtaining a mentor or coach can accelerate your success.

# 3 You have a plan and commit to it.

You need to prepare a plan with specific goals and stick to it. It is imperative that you work on your business every day, but sometimes you can only do 15 minutes. Keep your goals in mind and always move forward. You need to be very clear in your mind that failure is not an option.

To summarize, research opportunities and try to find the right one, get a mentor / coach, have a plan and commit to it. Remember failure is not an option.
